Last night I decided to bust out the foot spa and give myself a much needed pedicure. All of you that have little girls know that they too will want their nails painted, so the girl started their nails and some how Tavie had talked Decker into letting her paint his toes, and there fore Talen felt like it would be okay if Allie painted his toes. So yes the whole family got their toes painted!

My Mom finally got married....of course over Memorial weekend so none of the boys could be there cause the had to run the fence out in Panguitch ( if any of you know my grandpa than you know why fence comes before weddings!) Its was nice to go down and support my Mom!

Can you believe that Talen will be in 6th grade next year? Wow, time is flying by when I met Decker he was 3 yrs old. and now he is growing into a young man. We are so proud of Talen he is such a great student and trys hard and gets great grades!

Ironman kids fun run

Last weekend the Ironman was here in St. George! It was so fun to go and watch the amazing athletes who participated. To kick it off they had a 1 mile fun run for the kids and I of course signed my kids up. They had so much fun, Allie keeps asking when she is going to run the ironman again! The night before the race my kids were doing push ups and sit up so they would be ready for their run...it was pretty darn funny! I love these girls!

Deckers Spring season for softball is over. This year they were in the A league and took 3rd in the championship...which I think is pretty awesome! Good job Deck!

Hurricane Half Marathon

Yeah, I finished! I did way better than I thought! I was hoping for 10 mins. per mile and I did 9:45 mins. per mile which put me at 2:07:50.5! I am way excited I did that good....I really surprised myself. The course was up hill for the first 6 miles so I really struggled at first! But the last 7 miles were smooth sailing! NOT, mentally I struggled through the whole race and the last 3 miles dragged on and on. But hey I finished and that is all that matters plus I can feel myself getting stronger as a runner and a little faster!

Friday we took the kids and went four wheeling and hiking....we went up to see the Indian writing up in the caves, Allie taught that was the neatest thing ever!

We also had a Easter egg hunt out in the mountains...the kids loved it and I did too!

Talen had his track meet last Thursday and did a awesome job he took 2nd in the 200 meter race and 1st in the 50 meter race. He was so excited to win and we were so proud of him for giving it his all! Great Job Talen!

A couple of weekends ago I took the kids to Las Vegas for a little get away! They had so much fun, we went to the M&M Factory, the flower exhibit at the Bellagio and of course Chucky Cheese!

Everything at the exhibit was made of some sort of flower, it was really neat!

STG Marathon

I am proud to say that I Finished my first Marathon.....Here is my story. At 1 o'clock the morning of the marathon I woke up with the flu.....I know, LUCKY ME! I thought maybe it was nerve and dealt with and got ready for my run, on the ride up to the start line I tried to eat a bananas and drink some water (put something back into my body) but my Stomach was not taking it, I knew at this point that is was more than nerves (both my girls stayed home from school on Thursday with the flu) by this point there was no turning back...plus I freakin' trained my butt off and spent tons of money on running there was no way I was quiting!!! When I started running I was not doing so hot! I knew it was 7 miles to Veyo and Decker would be there so I had to make it to that point....well when I got there my Dad and his wife Vicky were there with Decker totally surprised me! I was so happy to see them all that I kept on going ( I couldn't quit when people drove from out of town to see me run) Well 10-11 miles into it I was done I had no energy my body was rejecting everything I put into it and I wanted nothing more than to go home! My next stop was Snow Canyon and once again I knew Decker would be there, I told my self that I just needed to get to him and than I would have him take me home! Well I did make it to him and right on the time I told him I would be there too (so I was still on track to be done in 4:30:00)! He talked me into finishing, he told me he would wait as long as it took me to get to the finish line, just finish! He was right my girls were there waiting for me and that is all it took for me to get my butt back into gear! about mile 18 I stated feeling half way good. My body was letting me put fluids in and I was lucky enough to find Heather, one of my running group friends and off we went. It was most definitely hard and I wanted to quit and the hills absolutely killed me but I finished and that is all the matters to me 5:07:57 was my time, next time hopefully I don't get sick!

*There are no word to describe how cool of a feeling it is to cross the finish line, all the people around cheering you on. Also how cool it looked from my point of view running 26.2 miles with 5600 people, you look in the front of you and see tons and equally as many for the back view. It was a awesome experience and now that I fell better I might actually do it again! Thanks to all that came and supported me (I really needed it) I have the best Family and Friends a girl could ask for!

So I go in the living room and see something on the ground, pick it up to throw it away and discover it is one of the vinyl letters off my prayer sign (which is one of my favorites) instantly I am a little angry. I wanted to make sure that it is what I it is, so I head over to the sing. And look what I found.....I cant get mad at that! Here is what I think happened Allie tore of the letters off a big R and the s and t in stand. Tavie being the peace maker tried to cover up Allies wrong doing by grabbing the black magic maker and write the letter in. The letter I found was the "t" but turn it around and it look like a "f"! Tavie is very clever, I still haven't said anything cause I am so taken my the act of kindness Tavie does, she is like that with everything, Allie messes it up and Tavie fixes it so she doesn't hurt any ones felling and doesn't get in trouble! I love my girls so much they always keep me on my toes!

Pine Valley 15 miler

On Saturday, I ran in the Pine Valley 15 miler. It was such a hard course, very hilly but good training for the marathon ( well that is what I kept telling myself the second half of the run). I have loved this new hobby I have picked up. It is so nice to get up early in the morning and and be able to think clearly and stay healthy!! I have met a lot of fun friends while doing so and I am having a blast, some days are easier than others but for the most part it's been great!

Tavie is officially a BIG girl..... Today was her first day of 1st grade! She was so excited, since Monday she has wanted it to be Thursday so she could go to school. I am so thankful that I can blog about this and can say that my mom crawled out of the Hummer with only a scratch on her elbow. I will start from the begin..... My mom has been staying in Panguitch in the trailer for the last week. So Decker and I and the kids went up again last weekend , we left our trailer there on Memorial knowing we would be back to get and finish the weekend off with my Mom. So on Sunday morning we packed up and was leaving, we tried to drain the sewer in her trailer but the handle broke and we couldn't get the drain to open. So we were on our way, Decker and I with our kids, pulling our trailer followed behind my Mom and her trailer. As we were exiting Bear Valley onto 1-15 my Moms trailer started swaying a little back and forth.... Which scared Decker and I, but my mom go a handle on it and she called Decker right after that to make sure everything was alright. Well as we were passing Enoch the same thing happened except this time she couldn't control it and the the swaying got worse and then her car started swaying and then she and the trailer flipped once releasing the car and the car flipped 3 1/2 more time. I was freaking out, the feeling that I would never see my Mom came and all I know was that Decker couldn't stop the truck fast enough for me to get out, I was screaming and crying. Decker and I ran to the Hummer and was screaming for her and Decker pulled the sunroof open and there she was in perfect condition. She said that she was fine and crawled out of the sun roof. She was checked out by the paramedics and they let her go, didn't even have to go to the hospital. The Hummer held up so good and all the air bag came out just like they should and On Star called her she said just like the commercials. What we think happened is that all the extra weight in the back from the sewer contributed to the swaying, she pulled the trailer up there just fine but all the water was in the front. I don't really know. I can sit here for hour playing the what if game.... and I do. But it all comes down to it happen and she is okay. She really is fine nothing but a scratch. There are defiantly more details than that but I cant write them all down, all I know is that there was some one looking after my Mom that day. And I am so thankful for that, my Mom means everything to me and to my kids. I love her so much and am glad she is here to tell about it.

Nothing could be saved, the guy did climb in and get two suit cases that my mom had in there, which were covered in sewer, the clothed inside didn't get one thing on them. but all her other clothes and 3 new jackets were covered with crap ( literally)

I can't not believe that Kindergarten has come and gone so quickly! Our little Tavie is growing up right before our eyes. Tavie had a cute graduation and a little program about all the things they learned this year. Tavie did great on her part and on the singing. She has learned so much in kindergarten and will do awesome in 1st grade! Tavie can not wait to go into 1st grade next year so she can meet more friends. Tavie is such a wonderful girl to have in our home, she is so tender hearted and thinks of every ones feelings ( if her brother or sister gets hurt she usually will cry for them) We are so proud of her and love her so much!

A couple of Friday's ago Talen had kinda of a end of the year 4th grade program. Their music teacher had put it together for the parent and all the other grades at school to watch. It was a great program they sang songs about how Utah came about and all the county. Talen had a part and did a awesome job! We are so proud of the young man Talen is growing into! He is so kind to others and a great example to his little sisters. He is so excited to big the oldest at school next year and because 5th graders get to pick where the sit at assemblies first and can patrol the traffic outside! We love you, Talen

Today my little Allie really got hurt, I felt so bad. She went into the garage to get her red sit down scooter and when she was turning it around it hit a bucket that had a box of 16x16 tile against it and they feel on her toes....OUCH! I was on the phone with Decker and heard the crash and her scream and ran out to get her. I hung up on Decker and once I got her back in the house had to call him right back to ask what I should do (will she be okay or should I go to insta care).... Don't worry, he was already on his way cause he knows I am no good in a emergencies especially when it is my kids. I just cry right along with them. Once Decker got home we decided we better go to the doctor to make sure it wasn't broke, Thankfully it is not! She has already learned how to get what she wants out all of this. She was on the couch and asked for something to eat and if she could eat on the couch. I told her she needed to eat at the table and she told me her foot just hurt to bad! But she has no problem chasing (wobbling) Tavie all around the house.

I wish this picture was a little clearer, but I didn't have time to and zoom and all that good stuff cause I had to get to the doctor...... Yes, that is a tick in Tavies head! Sick, I know!! So when we went camping last weekend I guess Tavie wanted to take home a little piece of nature with her. How did I not see it before you might ask. Well Tavie is at the point where she washes her own hair and for school on Monday she wanted me to leave her hair down, so I simply just brushed it. Well Today I decided to put her hair in pig tails so as I was parting it down the middle.... there it was... at first I thought she had bumped her head and it was dry blood so I touched it. I know I wanted to die after I saw its little legs start moving, but I had to be strong for Tavie cause she was not okay with a tick in her head... but who would be right? So off to the doctor we went and he pulled it out with tweezers and yes it was still alive and crawling on the napkin. Poor Tavie, I swear everything happens to that girl! I now owe her a trip to the dollar store for going to the doctor. Great job Tav!!!!!

In January Talen turned 10 and is now a Webelos in Scouts, on Thursday night they had their blue and gold banquet. They all had to make a cake with their Dads, They chose to make a Steelers football. And if I do Say so myself they did a excellent job! ( Wink, Wink) He was so excited to go, he received 2 badges and 5 belt loops! Way to go Talen!

So yesterday Decker finally took Tavie out to shoot her .22 that he got her for Christmas. It was fun, we all loaded up in the Rhino and went out. I also got to shoot the gun that he got for ME..... Last weekend Decker and I went up to Salt Lake for a long over due trip with just the two of us. It was so nice to get away. We laughed at the fact that we didn't even care if we stayed in the hotel room ( as long as we made it to the hunting expo). we really didn't do anything and loved every minute of it. We tried to go shopping but it was to cold to figure out where all the stores were and we gave up after two. This is the only picture that I got of us.

Last month I decided to put Tavie in gymnastics ( after she has been begging for about three months) They had a performance for the parents last night and she did so good . She really has learned a lot in such little time. I am so proud of her. Our Little Tavie is growing up!

So my computer crashed and it took them ONLY three weeks to fix it! We haven't been up to much but I thought that I should let every body know that The STEELERS are going to the SUPERBOWL. Decker is so excited.. well for me I am excited for him and I am excited that Kurt Warner is going as well. Not that I care for Arizona but I like Kurt alot:) Go STEELERS!!!

Last Saturday we went tubing. It was so much fun I love going. The weather was perfect, the sun was out and kept all of us warm. Tavie of course was the first one to get hurt, but she still wanted go down the hills. Allie loved to go down and would cry if she wasn't on the tube every second:) Talen took off with the boys with no time for pictures!

For Christmas Eve this year I put my kids in the Christmas program, my kids loved it and they all did so well on their songs and dancing. Afterwards we waited around to see Santa, But we could only stay for Allie to go sit on his lap. She did great, we all thought she would cry but she loved him and even gave him a big hug. After the program we went to Hurricane. Decker's family always does a dinner with the whole family. From there we went to Decker's parents house to open present from the cousins. It gets pretty exciting for us around the holidays, but its always worth it!

I finally gave into the kids and let them go play in the snow. Since school was canceled I thought what the Heck. It has been along time since I have seen snow like that in town. It was so fun to go outside and play in the snow and build a snow man (who knew that the snow balls could be so heavy!) It is starting to feel like Christmas!

So tonight was the night that we finally got the tree up. The kids have been begging for days now. We got all the boxes out and started to decorate when I realized that we were missing a couple of boxes.... So no stocking among other things!

This was Allie going through all the old Stockings ( you know the ones that you buy to match each time you have a new baby) it was so funny she would put it on her foot and ask "is this my stocking?" Decker was was going in and out trying to find the lost boxes and when he would pass her she would say "Dad, where is my stocking?" It was quite cute!

This was the girls helping to separate all the tree branches, Tavie wanted to do the very top!

This is the finished product, I had to throw together different things from each year (the ones I could find) to decorate.

Tavie and Allie love to play house, Tavie is always the Mom and Allie is always the baby. They do each others hair and nails. I only hope that they are this good of friends when they grow up.

Allie tried on the skates, not to bad for her first time with both skates on. She usually puts one on and pushes with the other leg, like a skate board!

On Monday night we carved our pumpkins, this year Decker got smart and talked Tavie into doing the easiest pattern. I of course helped Allie. Trissy and Kenzi came over and carved with us. They all turned out so cute:) Then on Tuesday night we all went to Staheli's farm and did the corn mazed. The kids could have stayed there all night if we would let them! It was pretty fun. We went on the barrel ride and got all muddy, it was actually quite fun!! I now feel like we are ready for Halloween. The girls are going to be super girl and Talen is going to be Freddy Krueger. Its going to be fun, I can't wait!!!

This past weekend was the deer hunt, we spent half the time with my family and the other half with Deckers family! And looking at Allie's Face the kids had a lot of fun catching lizards and playing in the dirt!

A girls trip that was long over do.... On Thursday we all headed down to Las Vegas for the Dashboard Confessionals Concert. I had so much fun acting like I was 16 agian. The concert was great too, they were awesome:)

On Wednesday and Thursday night, Decker and I took the kids hunting. I had so much fun! I always forget how much I like it until I am there with Decker. I really do like this little hobby of his. We really do have so much fun together! Most of Decker's family was there so the kids got to play with their cousins. I am sure that Decker loved the fact that I would rather take pictures than look for deer. But, hey it all about the memories. I am so excited for the rifle deer hunt! Maybe this year I will finally get my first deer!!

On Saturday I went and hiked The Subway with a group of friends. It was a so much fun, even if the water was freakin' COLD. I did go by myself cause good old Decker of course is out hunting. We started the trail around 9 a.m. and got finished around 5 p.m. I wish I could have gotting all of the falls on camera, cause there was some great one. I think not one person did not slip on accident. Thanks John and Cassi for inviting me I had a blast!!!

Park and Rodeo

This year at the Rodeo was so much fun, I think mainly cause my kids are old enough to stay entertained on their own. We went on Saturday night and the opening flag ceremony was so awesome, I always get a little emotional when it comes to that kind of stuff, but it was really cool to see the Army tank out in the arena. I am grateful for this country and all the soldier that risk their life's for our freedom!! The events were good, but I am going to have to say that the saddle bronc horse riding was the best event this year for me. We got so into it that we had to tell the kids down the way to sit down so we can see the show:)

Yesterday was picture day, I put Tavie's hair in hot rollers. It turned out so cute! Tavie kept on telling me the whole time that her head was so heavy.

Tavie's BIG NIGHT!!!

On Friday Night Tavie got to cheer at half time for the Snow Canyon Warriors football game, She did such a great job. I am so proud of her. It was also a great opportunity to watch Chase play, GO CHASE!! They lost 40-47, close game, Chase made a great catch to tie the game but a flag was thrown before hand and they had a 10 yard penalty, thanks ref's. So therefore no tie just a loss. It was fun for our friend and family to come watch, so thanks to all that came and supported Tavie!!!

Weekend Fun!!!!

On Sunday night I went Hunting with Decker (if thats what you call it) Just me and him, No kids, it was great except for the fact that it rained on us that night and our tent had two leaks in it!! So I stayed up all night worrying about my sleeping bag getting wet so I didn't go out that morning with Decker (whats the point he didn't get anything like normal)

On Saturday we went over to Heather's house for a BBQ. Of course Decker was off hunting so it was just me and the girls.

On Friday night we went to Jumpin' Jacks. The girls had so much fun:) Allie at first did not want anything to do with it but got use to after a while and we couldn't get her to leave. The big slide there was the big hit of the night for our family. I uploaded a video of Allie and Tavie dancing it is so cute..... Make sure you watch it!!

Last Wednesday night Allie kept me up a good portion of the night with a upset stomach followed with...that's right you guessed it puking. She kept telling me that her stomach had a "owie" on it and that she needed a band aid. Finally, around 5 in the morning I gave into her and gave her a band aid. She finally fell a sleep and didn't wake up until 9:30. The next day she wouldnt put the bathroom trash can down just in case she had to throw up in it. It was so funny I wish I would have got a picture of that. Later that day Tavie came and found me (blogging I'm sure) and asked me if I remember how you can give someone a blessing if they don't feel good. And I said "yes." She told me that she gave one to Allie when she was lying on the couch so she would feel better. Well than on Friday after I picked her up from school she asked me if Allie felt better and I told her, "that she was great and had a good night"( she always worries about everyone, that's why she is my little tender heart!) She said "huh, Mom Allie got better cause I gave her a blessing" It was so cute, she never seems to amaze me that's for sure!!!

On Tuesday when I went and picked Talen up from school, he had this great idea to surprise his Dad with washing his truck!! I was a great plan, and the girls were excited to help:) I took some pictures and was going to take some more at the end with the finished product but I had put my camera on top of my car with the towels to dry the truck and Tavie grabbed one of the towels and off went my camera onto the ground where it will forever rest!! Tavie was really sad and so was I. Then I realized that it was a blessing. I needed I new camera ( I don't know how much Decker agrees with this but, hey, he has plenty of toys:) So the truck looked great after the kids got done. Talen was so excited for Decker to come home so he can see his dirty truck clean.

I can't believe that my little Tavie is in kindergarden. She is so excited about it!! I thought I was strong enough to let her go (you know the " it will be a nice break!") but I was wrong I am not ready for her to be so big. When I dropped her off yesterday, I walked her up to her class room and she looked at me and said "bye Mom" didn't even think twice about it. I stood there in shock. She just looked at me like "okay, you can leave now". It was hard to hold back the tears!

This is actually Talen's second day of school.

Last weekend Decker took Talen and Tavie up camping to scout for the BIG ONE!! This isn't Talens first rodeo so he of course knew what he was doing. On the other hand this was Tavies first time going camping with out her mom or a trailer. Decker said she was really worried what she would do if she if started missing her mom to much!!

Thanks to Tiffany!! It is such a relieve not to have to worry any more if

she doesn't have her floates on.

She is all about jumping off of the rocks!!

Allie waited so patiently every day for two weeks, while Tavie was in her class

by the last couple of days she was done with swim lessons.
